A Quick Start - Using rSyncIT cPanel - Access WebDisk

In the email sent to you on sign up, titled "New Account Information", you will find a link to your Control Panel. Click this link. A browser window will open, and you will be presented with a log in selection for cPanel.

Enter your username and password for your rSyncIT account and select log in.

Once you are logged in successfully, you will see a variety of options. From here, you can create accounts, view files, and even upload/download files using the file manager.

Select "WebDisk" in the files column.

Once you select this option, you will be taken to an area that displays a place to create a new WebDisk account, and also an area that lists your WebDisk accounts.

To quickly configure WebDisk on your machine, select "Access WebDisk" next to a user account, at the bottom of this page.

You will next be prompted with options to select the Operating System you are using. Select the apporpriate Operating System from the menus, and then notice the instructions that appear above the logos for each OS Distributor. Ensure that you save these instructions before you select "Go".

Once you have selected "Go" a script will download onto your computer. Locate the script, and run it.

Verify authorization to run the script, this step varies from OS to OS.

You will need to enter the account user name and account password that you would like to mount a WebDisk for. This connection process may take up to a few minutes.

Upon successfull connection, you will see a WebDisk drive appear, available for you to open and transfer files to and from.

And thats it! You have successfully set up your rSyncIT WebDisk drive on your local machine!
